Ladies in town are rockin those Laura Scott purses. I can't wait to get one for my birthday. Sears is definately back.

I remember when I was eating my lunch in the breakroom and I had my lunch bag and tumbler out on the table. The store manager passed by my table and commented on how she liked it. Then she asked where I got it. I said Amazon, suddenly her mood turned different. "Oh. Well, I don't shop on Amazon".
Another time I was eating something from Wal-Mart's deli (I think it was a sandwich). She said that it looked delicious. I said I bought it from Wal-Mart and she quipped, "You'll never see me in a Wal-Mart."
Maybe she drank too much of the Sears kool-aid and believed that Sears' competitors are evil.
I only get today off. Since the store is closed, I did all my shopping on Amazon. Hope my SM doesn't find out.
Returns with a gift receipt at our store will get a merchandise return card, regardless of method of payment.
@rnp Agree you can expect usually the last few days before xmas for Sears and Kmart to be busy for those last minute shoppers. Honestly our store was busy, but I also can see return season coming up next lots of returns for whatever reason so those positive numbers can turn around...
Or for a cooler. Or anything infants. Or for magazines. Or for any other vendor item that we didn't pay, or have pulled out!!!

Last minute?? Ok that's why our whole season was busy.. Might not help but our Kmart did well...
Kmart and sears are last minute shop destinations so Christmas eve is their best day. Most shoppers don't go to Kmart or Sears
Huzzah! That means the future of the company is guaranteed! Now, we can reopen all of the closed stores, make the massive capital investments that are required to resolve decades of deferred maintenance, raise employee salaries to be competitive, reestablish benefits, pay vendors, turn on lights and HVAC systems so our stores will be pleasant and comfortable to shop in, and bring back the quality that the company once stood for.
