Hello!
I have extensively read through the GE Power layoff I received and there is no mention of forfeiture of severance eligibility if a second job was started while still working at GE provided I am still fulfilling my GE duties. I am potentially accepting a new position in another company a week before my layoff date. My potential future employer can't push the start date another week out. Does anyone know if that working for the next employer for a week to hit the layoff date and electing the lump sum option would cause ineligibility to receive?
