Yep, will close the doors in US. They get huge tax writes offs for exporting jobs under new Republican Tax Plan.

So Cisco will move more jobs to India and cut more jobs in California, just like IBM, it has more employees in India than US.

Cisco will continue to hire low cost labour to offset its bloated high cost basis. Whilst Indian labour may not be the best, it will suffice. Besides, the girls in building 10 like the big Indian meat over shriveled white dry turkey from the effeminate millennial males on campus.

It's about time. Corruption and dirty ways are not part of American culture.

All of this should empower Indians. This reduces the ability of companies to indenture Indians for H1Bs, Green Cards, and Citizenship. If they are as good as they think they are, the work will follow them back to India giving them a shot at building and growing their own country.

US universities and corporations have been using the lax US immigration system to exploit young Indians (high tuition and !ow wages). The old system essentially allows educational institutions to sell visa opportunities (exploitive tuition rates for low quality graduate programs that improve visa chances). It also enabled companies to indenture visa employees and drive down domestic salaries.

It is time for all of this to end.

The objective of the H1B should be to recruit the best and brightest to America. Corporations, such as, Cisco, merely exploit the H1B system to push American wages lower.
