Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Fake News

The media is reporting a big increase in retail sales, and as we all know, it never happened.

Welcome to the era of fake news, where govt's, media, and corporations will tell any lie to prop up their "All is well!" narrative. Especially about the economy, which they want you to believe is doing GREAT!

Yes, your government and media lies to you, all the time about everything. Sorry to burst your bubble, and Santa Claus isn't real either.

From Fortune Magazine:

‘According to a Mastercard SpendingPulse report released on Tuesday—the day after Christmas—U.S. retail spending, excluding the automotive category, was up 4.9% in 2017 compared to the same period last year. Some of the largest jumps were seen in electronics and appliances (7.5%), jewelry (5.9%), and home furnishings and home improvement (5.1%).“

Claiming “Fake News” can be an intellectually bankrupt claim. The credit cards companies are reporting higher levels of spending during the holidays and they have first hand knowledge of customer activity.

Really? Your life is that special riding off into the sunset. Hahaha. Here’s laughing at you, BBQ roast!

People with everything you’re attempting to describe don’t post up on a laid off forum unless they are BBQ hurt.

Or- special like me.

I inspire. I am the messiah of pointing out your BBQ sadness.

Try butter chicken. You need to!

This clown ComfortZone is boring and unoriginal - no one was laughing the first time. He’s good for one thing: slaving away at a corporation and paying taxes to finance my social security and subsidize my old age medical costs. Someone’s gotta finance my retirement golf and endless cruising.. Have fun with that snowflake

@ Negativity,

What a BBQ kind of statement. We can't go one day without a person (sliding to PIP) vying for attention by making comments as such. Pathetic to a degree, but I set my expectations for such nonsense and so the bar that low is easy to see from a positive and better viewpoint. Like a boss seeing a BBQ sauce covered scrub sponge on the floor, no soap in sight.

Everything is bad. The sky is falling. Snowflakes everywhere. This kind of mindset keeps this kind of person in a rut. A comfort zone if you will. Full of fear, smothered in that BBQ, smoked, slow-roasted, poor decision-making comfort zone.

How can you know anything about the rest of the nation when you sit in a dumpster fire day on a day out hoping your whines help you buy that new empathy. Wrong!

The changes are "winning"! Accept it.
