If you have been laid off or think you may be laid off what are your future plans?

I was aware of the potential lay-off just by being observant of the Company's actions. Removing the Audit department was an eye awakening move. If shrink is no longer a concern, where is the business going? Ultimately we were pulled into the office and told of our future. We chose to stay only to be downgraded and humiliated as to now the way we are being treated. "Cash recycler is here to help with the business and those people should be grateful they still have a job" is what had been said. Yes, a new plan is in the works but not ready to retire. Need to work on skills and catch up with technology in order to be considered for anything not related to retail or this company. Tired of working with ignorant, low educated bullies and that's just management.
RETIREMENT!!!!!
sgf It’s great to continue working as hard as you can, but if you are in the potential or probable group set for layoff, you need a backup plan. don’t put your head in the sand, I guarantee it won’t be a shock but you’ll be caught off guard. While I knew it was coming it still takes your breath away to hear it. Maybe in your life stage it wouldn’t be anything except an inconvenience IDK but if your job supports you or family, better get a plan in place. Just saying
I started my back up plan when audit was eliminated. I returned to school to finish my degree. I Will graduate in May 2018. Hopefully I can go straight into my field of study or find a part time to hold me over. My severance should last me 6 months- I've been with the company a while. Ive gained a lot of skills here that will make my resume strong. I'm thankful for that at least. I will take my severance and run. Run far away!!!
Retired early.
I was lucky enough to have planned and saved enough that I can do it.
Till I'm called in the office..I am continuing to work as hard as I have
Take severance and enter early semi-retirement working just my part time job.
