CPSG got hit today. Time for a collective sigh of relief, as we sort of knew it was coming, but the anxiety of waiting and wondering is over. Many people had new jobs lined up already. If you are visiting this board frequently, then you know about that anxiety, and you deserve better! This isn’t about brown skin versus white skin. This L&R didn’t discriminate and it sure as hell had nothing to do with performance.

Cloud Platform Solutions Group. That’s Kip’s org. I’m a software engineer under that group.
Also I know couple of Indians that got ousted. They were contractors. Very sad. Talented people too.
The LR did discriminate. I don't know of a single Indian who got caught up in CPSG. Several women were let go skewing the numbers even more
Don't confuse CPSG and CSPG.
This is so unfortunate, I know a lot of great people in that org. Such talent! will now benefit better companies who treat their people better. This org was doomed from the start.
34 prople in Kips CPSG org were axed on 11/8. Like clockwork.

Fairly safe to say that Cisco's cloud strategy is winning the race to the bottom. What remains is nothing more than another hardware selling strategy. The remaining "leadership" team has a 6 month stay of execution with no path to revenue or meaningful market share. The UCS DC team will swallow them like a sweet muffin. What a joke.
