I want to know this is such b---s--- that we don't know one day to the next if we have jobs, someone freaking get me out of this hell hole really..... 17 years of my devotion goes out the door they don't give a damn about anyone, We have no meetings personnel no communication from GM everything s---s so bad that I don't give a rats a-- anymore

Yes. We have offers from zulily and Groupon. But who are these people going to bring their voucher number to???? Look don’t get me wrong I’ve been working for my club for years. And no one has ever gave a DAMN about me. Sams club is going to sh--. And I will watch it crumble. But unless zulily or Groupon can come up with a membership # and be able to look up that number if the member can’t find their care. Then they will always have a membership desk. And all the managers are sh--.

I don't think Marketing will make it until January. They aren't asking for numbers, I haven't entered anything in SalesPro in months and no one says a word. Nothing on the wire for Membership either. I just want them to get it over with, I'm so done! 😞

Marketing, receiving, PTC will go next. Should be by the end of January. Claims will be the only full time that will be saved. Marketing is no longer needed as they can pay third parties to sell for them like Groupon, etc. I’m sorry but our marketing doesn’t do much sales. The deals are better online than what they offer so it’s really not their fault to have to compete with the company they are selling for. Not to mention all the mileage and payroll being wasted. They have a 4 person team that drives an average of 500 miles each and will bring in maybe 15-20 memberships each. The dollars don’t make sense.

Yes they don’t care our club was such a mess today with this event. Managers were clueless they plan and the plan was sh--. So many upset members that they were calling home office way to go club ~~~~

anyone being pushed out would be really really smart to leave altogether unless you are handed an equal paying job as a tl on the floor. start putting a resume together and test the waters. better sooner than later

A friend at Home Office said that Groupon and Zulily have been a much better source of sales that they will be outsourcing all membership sales through social media and other third party companies. Marketing, Receiving, and PTC are to follow in January. They won’t do anything right before Christmas. Too much bad publicity. I suggest everyone start looking for other positions in the club or another company altogether. Good luck to everyone.

We feel the same in our club. No direction seems like nobody cares about our department anymore. We just do our job and wait.
