So...no one has details they want to share about their severance package?

Like a fake, without integrity
But we walk and talk like we’re special, and thats what matters.
Deep Basin people are not that special.
You are all misinformed. There have been ex-COP deep basin staff laid off the last few weeks, confirmed.
Deep Basin staff are protected for a year after closing, Jan1, 2017. You can bet with Big Z in charge he’ll be aggressive about laying off staff to brown nose to the new CEO.
What's this Jan 2018 talk? I thought they are laying off from other BU's so that they can keep the Deep Basin group intact?
At least the ex-COP employees don’t have to worry about layoffs until Jan 1, 2018.
In other cheerful news, DBRS just released a note on CVE’s credit rating (negative) and more asset sales will be needed to right the ship.
Its worse. All the quiet with layoffs taking place at random, zero messaging from leadership about anything at all, meanwhile loads of hype of developing up assets has all been flushed into the bow river. I don’t believe morale ever got this bad at COP.
How do you compare this company to COP? Is it just as bad at Cenovus as it was at COP as far as morale?
A deep basiner would prefer a package from this disaster of a corporation.
......please!
The Deep Basin thanks you for your sacrifice.
About 150 counting the layoffs today.
Any number on how many layoffs have been done since September?
In this economy it's near impossible to get any job when there is no demand never min low or high. At least decent severance package can be little bit comforting given economy is not rebounding and EI only lasts for 9 months.
Your severance formula is a function of how difficult it is for you obtain employment in a similar position at a similar company. If you’re in a low demand position you can expect up to 4 weeks per year or as low as 2 weeks in a higher demand role.
It’s the standard 2 weeks per year of service unless somebody has been able to negotiate more??
Take a look for yourself... it's the bulge in my left pant leg that extends down to just above my kneecap!
Man did you get hosed!
They are great, at least 1 week per year of service. If u work 20 years, lucky u, u get half a year of salry. Thi is very good.
