Get ready for the next nail in the coffin this week. Q3 results, followed quickly by layoffs. Numbers are horrible.

The zebra has yet to change its stripes. The decline will soon reappear as the culture at AAP warrants nothing else.
Qtr was still bad...Just less horrible than expected. The perception at Raleigh DC is a lot less product volume being handled/ordered. This could be due to the orders being filled by VA DC for Advance stores, but many JV & Independents getting less mdse. too. This is current situation mid way through 4th qtr, and with some stores switching to NAPA, nothing points to improvement. Regardless of how the #s are crunched for 3rd qtr stats, the people who are in the trenches at Advance NOW are working inthe 4th qtr and would be the first to notice any mdse uptick (or decline), store adds (or drops), etc.. Granted most employees only sees their little slice of the larger pie, but they have insight & info now that the analysts won't put together until months from now when 4th qtr stats are compiled & released.
Forward Looking Statements were promising. Glad I sold a year ago and bought back in on Friday!

And Autozone is up 35 bucks today... jump don't mean much.. its what happens in the next months that matter.
Stock is up and cracked $100 after Q3 report so hold on to that nail!
