I know for a FACT that your employees document what’s going on in the retail stores, they actually do a much better job of documentation than your so called coaching.
In my location alone, I know of 3 people who document illegal and unethical practices mandated by the management. I am also certain that other locations in my area do the same. So when you say something that’s not right or roll an eye or wink a brow, know that it’s been documented. Actually, it’s been documented for years now, but more this last year than before. And it’s not only the problem employees you have that do this, it’s your slammers as well. People are NOT stupid, they know what’s going on and won’t be left without a chair when the music stops. TRUST NO ONE! They will lie to you as easy as they lie to customers.
I was actually shocked to find out employees do this and have lists and lists of DETAILED information, it’s pretty amazing. But this just goes to shows what the business has become, and knowing that it’s falling apart. If you have not been doing your part of documenting, shame on you.
