They haven't seen that before ???
Obviously, oil and gas business is volatile and cyclical you don't need to be a VP to understand that.

Keep the brig o' doom and get rid of the underperforming stoneywood. They are a PR disaster.
All underperforming product lines are gone by the end of the quarter.
Brig of doom is a goner Big meetings on going
maybe halibuton buy us up maybe?
only took GE 3 months to see that BH are losers. Time to kick them on the scrap heap where they belong.
Just like a Looney Tunes cartoon!
Happy Jim ain't happy
Wish I took the package as bare tattie from GE
Brig of don at the cliff edge!!!
The loon is a very happy loon
Yippee brrrrrrrr
It already is a case study for basket weavers.
GE going to be a case study for MBA students.
Too much blame being put on BHI here. GE is responsible for all of this.
also that marketing campaign was considerably a lot less money that you would think. Most was handled in house... and all by GE. Probably cost a bonus from a of C level executive.
To be honest, Ive dealt with a lot of GE Oil and Gas since the merger... I have not met a single one who is worth their title. I don't work with actual product lines, or in the field. MUCH of everything that has gone through has been GE's doing with very little input if any from the BHI side.
All I have witnessed is, BHI with their sh-- together and GE still floundering to keep up.
This would be a typical GE move, sell low. Why would you sell your oil and gas entity when it you know its bottomed out and will rise.
GE is a total cluster f---.
I see two possible scenarios unfolding:
1- GE begins selling their shares which will push stock price much lower
2- Chinese buy GE's majority position
Both s---.
If we look back a lot of money were spend on marketing campaign “ a line has been drawn“ , change the logo, everybody photos with BHGE frame smiley face.Unbelievable, to heard “ commodity nature of BHI business as a significant problem”.
this place has become a brown thing floating atop a shallow pool waiting for that inwardly spiral down the tubes
BHGE is nothing more that a retread of Baker Hughes. Same idiots in charge at the top with a few new tards. Old Crackerhead must need another Christmas present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep your shares. Hopefully another payout to shareholders is coming.
I used to cyclicality to my work until someone stole my bike!
The Fat lady is about to sing for Baker Hughes , feel sorry for the regular employees . Whomever buys Baker must clean house top to bottom ....get rid of the piss poor management . This management team ruined several very good companies.
Don't see how anyone else could purchase BHGE - will have to be a BHGE purchase from GE?
Let GE sell Baker Hughes to Sinopec.
Will be interesting who are BHI-GE advisers/consultants that haven't seen this disaster coming.
Looks like more instability for both companies and not very happy shareholders.
Already BHI has more that 3 years since is FOR SALE, we had Halliburton first, then GE, who is next .... ???
Oh, now we are talking...
What a stupid move...
Clawbacks...
