Over the weekend, I heard our radio ad for Advance promoting battery and wiper installs, code reading, and alternator and starter testing all for free. And a commercial account would want to support us why? No wonder we are heading back to 100% retail. You can't take potential sales away from a customer. At my store, we are back to the same sales level we had prior to acquiring carquest. We had four CQ stores in my area all consolidated into AAP locations that are now gone along with the along with their sales. What a waste. All the CQ people are gone as well with most working for the competition. Who's running the brain trust that keeps whittling away at my paycheck? Coke no Pepsi!!

What a joke, after cutting our labor hours so low we don't have enough people in the store to provide these services, now we want to revive the reputation for service we already killed?
My largest commercial account just paid what he said is his final bill with us. Had a customer bring in a cabin air filter into his shop that we sold him because he couldn't figure out the install. The shop owner saw the receipt from my store and checked his cost. Retail was $3.37 less than his cost. (I verified and he was right). How many more customers have left for mistakes like this? This will hurt my livelihood quickly. My cam tried to salvage but was thrown out. Nice outfit we work for.
I hope they lose all the commercial business and the stock hits 49.99 tomorrow! BUNCH OF FRIGGIN' MORONS RUNNING THIS COMPANY!
