Why does corporate tell stores when they are going to visit? Why don't they surprise the club's and see the real world that we go through daily? See the results of their cuts in positions and hours and how it affects associates and members?

Our store had a visit from HO. Now all managers are gathered in GM's office laughing their asses off because they pulled off making the store look good today. Scheduled extra help and stocked the club. What a joke!

I agree! I would love for them to come in and see how we run on a skelton crew daily. We get warned ahead of time that HO is coming to our club. Managers scramble to ensure the associates clean the club, everyone on the front end looking busy, multitasking, doing the job of 3 people. If they only knew!
problems out of sight...out of mind. If no problems are seen then none really do exist. Been seeing this for the last 6 or 7 years. Nothing will change until things come crashing down, and by then it will be to late.
Yes we add multiple associates for these so called f---ing visits. I agree totally let them come in and see what its really ran like piss poor. The managers do nothing and get all the credit for what the associates do!
Corporate doesn't really want to see the problems or messes, they just want it to look as if they care. Try talking to one of them about a problem while they visit, they will roll their eyes and keep touring and giving critique.

I totally agree, but the entire company is obviously run by idiots. And half the time it's other GM's putting the word out to others in their market that they had visitors.
