Actually, it’s Crotchville. Yes, C-R-O-T-C-H-V-I-L-L-E. Jesus that took a long time to type on my phone. Should’ve assigned that to an OMLP. Crotchville is where Immelt and his cronies used gloryholes to discover the bright young minds or “mouths” of GE. For instance, a young OMLP suggested an empty plane follow him everywhere after taking it on the chin. That OMLP? Well, she’s soon to be an exec near you.
It is lovely, lots of theoretical discussions, perfect for a philosophy or theology major. Unfortunately food and ambiance, get higher ratings than practicality. As a Latino who grew up in a normal barrio it felt so out of touch that I half way thought I was back at the zoo doing observation studies for school. Another colleague said this - Help I'm trapped in a time warp.
They teach Book Cooking 101 there.
I absolutely love Crotonville...best corporate training place ever. Learned so much from the GE leaders. Beautiful place with so much intellectual thought. Would not trade my experiences there for anything. Spent at least six weeks of my life there. I am no longer at GE but what I learned there was genuine and so helpful in my career after GE.

I've never been but I hear you just eat and drink the entire week or two of "training". Don't OMLPs spend a lot of time there before jumping ship to other companies?
