Which vertical orgs, how many people impacted?
There were also RIF's in TK's org 2 months ago. Some teams lost 50%.
Vertical units are being hit as well - must notifications this week effective immediately -
Parts of TK org have put together RIF lists for FY Q3. Not sure how widespread, but some groups 10-15%. Would expect the hits to come in early December. No point in giving impacted people “free paid holiday” week.
I believe you will see Tape hardware cuts, rumor has it that many of the reps are in the single digits of quota for the year. They still have a lot over overhead in Colorado and no new or upgraded products
A senior director of Customer Success in Austin was laid off today. So, more will probably be coming before end of the calendar year...

There will be some layoffs before the end of the year. They need to space it out to avoid triggering WARN. MH realizes there is fine deadwood among the teams and he needs to properly size the organization to meet the demands of his board. Also the numbers are clear based on the forecast of new sales or lack there of. While it will be hard for people to hear, it is not personal. He needs to run a business.
Any other information? How do you know?
I suspect they will not miss a quarter, they have too many people to get rid of and lots of money budgeted for RIF'ing.
