How are these budgets getting approved for more jobs?

Customer facing jobs are being approved. Same old Same old. They shrink the old fashion way but keep all the survivors. HR knows the drill.
Did anyone else try to read @sfn. I'm guessing it's the Russians.
@apc Just be careful; that blue GE koolaid tastes like almonds for some strange reason.
GE is now paying games .....of reducing all the heads in a set department and then only hiring 30-50% of the people back via open Req.s As an existing employee you need to repost for an open position ... I hear they operate this way to avoid age discrimination law suits. If you don't believe me go ask HR ...I am sure they will give you a straight answer. They got lots of the blue kool-aid and the nice GE logo cups!
