I personally took the Severance package on the east coast. It was voluntary. $50k + $2200 per year with 6 months benefits. 47 people out of about 150 in our office took it. The micromanaging and over all vibe in the office was horrible. Glad I’m out!

Congrats! I took the package too. It was get out now with something, or wait till the company kicked our asses out with nothing. I chose to get something. Funny, it's only been a week and a half and I feel like a whole new human being. Congrats on getting out and finding life after Verizon.
Same here, I’m looking for a new job and know I will get less money, I was making almost 80,000 but I came to the realization that I would make every effort to get half that much to have my mental health in tact and not spend every day off in bed recuperating from the b---s--- and mentally preparing for more bull for days to come. That package was not a lot of $ but it’s better than leaving empty handed 🤬
