Everyone so caught up with their own company. AT&T layoffs too. Not as big, but happened nonetheless.
It's NEVER about one company when dealing with an industry this big and well run. If it's happening to Verizon, it's happening everywhere. Just a matter of time.

Of course all Companies have lay-offs/reorgs/restructurings...But it's about the thought process as to the why's and how many...That's what make no sense about what Verizon just did...Whole groups that were suppose to be strategic forward, good talent and people, gone...Was even told...Some groups still not aligned properly but had to get down to the goals (numbers) set by Hans by Jan 1, so they just had to cut straight across the board. That's just bad business in my book...What ever happened to and what is wrong with retaining your best talent.
