Curious that Crestview and TCS are not mentioned in the Vertex sale. Anyone got any scoop?

Its not farfetched and dont need hot buyer it called firesale. You can unload anything quick if the price is right
No leaks. Washington needs to take lessons. Several hot leads implies a bidding war and that seems a bit far fetched.
In order to meet that timeline they must have a couple of hot leads.
L3 hopes to have sale completed by mid 2018. Buyer in the wings?
One thing for sure, the Fat Cats at L3 won’t be paying it back. They are too busy golfing, yachting, and spending their I’ll gotten gains.
didn't Crestview receive a grant from the State of FL, so who pays that back?

Monday’s email made it clear that Crestview Aerospace is, in fact, part of the package in the planned sale of Vertex Aerospace.
The new mantra is Growth, Growth, Growth. Making money isn't enough, you've got to make more and more and more money.
Other divisions take heed lest you find yourself on the chopping block as well.
L3 Corporate knew in September that is was going to divest Vertex and when the Aerospace sector was re-organized to include TCS and Crestview, it would consolidate the three to "sweeten" the deal,
L3 doesn't need another engineering company (TCS) because they have engineers in G'Ville and Waco twiddling their fingers, and they don't need another depot level facility because they have acres of unused concrete in G'Ville and Waco.
So you throw all of the under performing locations in one basket, and have a marketable product.
Corporate takes a profit hit, momentarily lowering the stock price but it has rebounded.
Vertex never fit into the L3 business plan because the profit margin doesn't meet the expectations of Corporate bean counters.

Are those part of Vertex? If so then they'll go with the rest of it. Of course when they sold NSS (formerly Stratis, formerly Titan, formerly any number of smaller companies they bought) they did keep a few bits that they thought were worthwhile.
