Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Sears and Kmart no longer listed on most shopping portals

Sears and Kmart no longer appear on shopping portals like mrrebates, ebates, etc...

This isn't a good sign. I wonder who ended these partnerships.

Remember, Sears already burned through Eddie's holiday loan. They can't pay for anything more.

It’s a smart move. Cash back sites do not generate new business and just lower margins.

My theory was that they were banking their promotional budget.

Normally they do these sites at 5% last year starting BF week they were doing 10 and more, so hoping to see ten plus this week. We will see.

if this is true ... this time of the year they should be on every site possible to get sales from anywhere they can... well to help them liquidate the inventory faster by years end so Eddie can get his money back before the BK starts

@QjQ63cf-ett Guess you know how bad it is then if they can't pay for it.

The partnerships aren't ended. You have to pay for these services to be on their sites....so some times Sears decides they want to pay and be on the sites and sometimes they decide they don't want to pay and be on the sites.

Sears/Kmart has actually been on and off of the rebate sites every month or two for the past year.

Ominous, and for anyone thinking there is light at the end of the tunnel, this puts the final nail in that coffin.
