Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Sears Holdings Bankruptcy Imminent?

Back in 2002, K-Mart went bankrupt and was at Caa3 shortly before they went bankrupt (The day they went bankrupt they were downgraded to C which stands for default). They also had their ratings downgraded twice in a very short period of time.

Sears Holdings is now at Caa3. They also have had their ratings downgraded twice in a very short period of time (even though it was months in SHLDs case, it was days in K-Marts).

@Qk9Befh-uis It's because one, it is the busy shopping season so of course it will be busier and two, Sears/Kmart are fooling people with these "Blowout Sales" to trick into buying stuff they could get cheaper elsewhere.

Stores are severely dilapidated and understocked. You are right, there's not much to see.

Most stores are busier than they’ve been in ten years with higher prices than the last 3 months. Nothing to see here

I honestly see it. They are just waiting for the holidays to be over and done with before they start to really go into full liquidation mode.
