Re-hiring at Qcom after layoff !

Is it possible to get re-hired at Qualcomm after being laid-off ?

just look for Graphics hardware team, so many who were let go as part of willow are rehired. Irony is they are rehired with higher designation.

To sustain in QCOM you need not be engineer you just need to know a#$ licking , back biting and be a politician.

I would also recommend avoiding a return except as a temporary work while you don't find a new job. The reason is simply: HR and your management will always bring up your previous layoff during reviews. I know a guy who got layed off in 2015 and rehired in 2016, then during reviews he is always haunted by the previous layoff history which drives down the process. Make a real change and don't seek confort or a familiar environment you know already, instead seek growth and new opportunities. If you see in your mind, you can hold in your hand.
