The good key players, execs and recognized leaders already left qcom before 2017. Now the riff raff wannabe are leaving after have squeezed qcom to their max capability..

bet they waited till November 20th to squeeze out more in the form of RSU vesting with "dignity and honor"!

The folks who moved to intel are recognized leaders and folks who really work and motivate team members, these folks were key players at QC and they left because the bs and politics.

Dignity? Yeah right! The folks from LA team who are jumping ship now after 15+ years of stay at QCOM have no dignity or honor. Pure brown nosers who squeeze the system unethically all for self promotion and have only contributed majorly in destroying qcom culture.

They are the least respectful about diversity or gender and race at workplace Horrible "leaders" now going to pollute other big reputed places.

These f---@ers won't last at Silicon Valley as many talented people will isolate them. That is the good thing about Bay Area, some already moved to Intel and they want to bring the $hit and micromanagement and they are stopped in a rush, "this is not QC, change your posture or get the he@ll out" hahaha

Pretty sad to see manger and executives that have been here over 15+ years and had the responsibility to manage the company and who are solely to blame for the degraded culture at qcom, jumping ship after destroying it themselves.

And worse that they are getting employed by good companies to bring their bad culture and attitude. Atleast good to see most of them are not in Google being gated by good interview process at Google. Can't say the same for amazon. Too many of these seeping into Amazon.

Jump from Heliport at N, this will have more impact than the one at WT.

Me and most of my friends are in the same boat

Our strategy is to keep our skill set updated and wait for the sweet package

We usually work no more than 10 hours a week like most of the directors and above...

Although it is frustrating sometimes to stay put

I guess most of Qualcomm is in this stand by mode

Cbsp and Linux Android management at VP to all director level has been and still is always the worst... Man what a bunch of s----ups and Bott sniffers...

I spent 50% of my time having to cater to lousy manager's needs to cover up things and make up stories to meet timelines and opt for shady designs. what a waste of time. Someone really needs to get rid of this managers and hire better ones starting from the VP level..

The balcony in building Q may provide a quick exit , just close your eyes and take a leap of faith. #QEXIT.

This is most unethical company to work for, if you are talented just leave before it kills your talent. Look at cbsp&android mgmt team and their political talents .....

Politics. That’s right. That’s what rules the agenda at highest levels at Q. It starts from the incompetence at the top and permeates down. What a shame this once great company came to! Unless they get rid of incompetent top brass, nothing will change. We are bleeding talent by the day.

I quit Q a year ago. My base compensation went up by 10K and my work hours went from 60 hrs at qcom: 40 percent of which was spent in politics and warding off crapping managers playing politics....

Now I work 40- 45 hours contently working on pure technical stuff, coding, debugging, designing etc. and report to a real manager interested in improving the company and its culture/people and hitting companies bottom line in due course. Love it here.

I left Q voluntarily, went from $120k and 60+ hour weeks to $80k and 40 hours. Still in a technical field but not telecom.

I'm much happier and healthier. I miss how Q was before the turn of the century, I don't miss current Q at all, aside from some of my co-workers that slaved away with me, but then again there is one specific Q VP that I hope to never see again, the guy shouldn't be in charge of adults when he is a child.

Now I just want my Q stock to go to 80+, and to my friends still there, don't worry, you'll be happier after Q is gone.

Agreed here

I missed the times when we entered holidays without worrying about bad news coming in Santa's chimney
