Everlast apparel and shoes are apparently OUT at kmart. The name is licensed by Sears Holdings at both Sears and kmart for products it designs and sells.

@1pcr Yes Reebok has been at Sears for at least 20 years......
Apparantly Reebok shops are being tested in some stores. So maybe everlast will be completely replaced by Reebok at Sears?

Northeast region Kmart here.
Anything Everlast Sport in our store is leftover from last year. We got no new pullover or zip fleece, no new athetic shirts, etc.
We did get a ton of Hanes sweats, tops, pants, jackets, pullovers -- which we haven't had in our store in over 10 years.
I'm apparel lead in my store. There's nothing in our memos, merchandising books or in pebble about this (unless it was a three second blip that I missed.)
The Cannon name has been disappearing too from Kmart.
This year's promo fleece blankets carry the Essential Home brand. Other blankets and comforters which had the Cannon name on them in prior years have Essential Home on them. New sheet sets coming in have the Essential Home name on them, too.
Haven't seen new ladies Everlast Sport Activewear in my store since 2016. It sold well... not sure if rebadging with an in-house brand will keep it selling.
Everlast was always a step above Athletech in quality of garments. I'm sure we have the same suppliers on tap for new products.
Maybe this is a case of another retailer paying more to license the name for their own products starting in 2018??
Athletech and Basic Editions were slapped on most all of our fleece and cool weather athleisure apparel at Kmart this season. Both brands are wholly owned by Sears Holdings.
Prior to Everlast Sport, Kmart had a lot of D grade brands for shoes and sportswear like Spaulding.
I was wondering where all the everlast activewear was this year! We literally have nothing at my Kmart.
Most of the non-apparel fitness products in Sears these days are branded NordicTrack and Weider, so maybe they're going to switch to one of those brands for the apparel too?

What will take Everlast's place, being that most of the tennis/running shoes and exercise apparel are almost exclusively Everlast?
Are they just going to replace it with Simply Styled, which is not known outside of Sears (do they even carry Simply Styled at Kmart?) or are we just going to have big, empty holes in these categories?
Everlast is not a house brand.
Sears is pulling its own house brand out of Kmart? That's a bad omen. If they really are going to close all remaining Kmarts in February, then now would be when we start to see evidence of them unwinding business relationships.
Huh? That's basically 80-90% of the activewear and active footwear lineup at Kmart and Sears.
