Correct no layoffs now. Dell management have fun and vacation in december. they dont have enregy to do even layoff in december. the layoffs will be in January. thats the usual cycle.
No layoffs as yet. Maybe after the Christmas break.

It is the opposite. Jeff Clarke taking the Storage reins will slowly knock off emc leadership and bring in the Dell folks.
EMC is taking over the Storage group. Don’t believe me just look at org chart. By next year Legacy Dell won’t exist.

There are some unfounded rumors floating in BDC storage that a few senior folks will be laid off in Q4. This is all fake news. Nothing is going to happen and BDC storage directors and super techies can continue playing video games.
Dell management is not reassuring anyone. Neither employees, partners nor customers. Not surprising that there are so many rumors about layoffs at Dell. Fake news fill the void.
Overheard some coworkers talking about the expected layoffs coming next week. Seems that all this fake news is really catching on!

Yeah Dec 4th week. I am praying for the layoff to happen and collect my settlement. I already have an offer at hand. I don't get additional monies if there is no layoffs in next two weeks.

It has begun to affect the partner community as a side effect. Dell/EMC partners have begun to shed account executives who can't seem to sell Dell Technologies products. No one seems to want their stuff. I just heard two Sales rep let go in my territory and one from another partner. All of them strong Dell/EMC partners. Numbers have been way off for the second half of the year. You need to brush up on competitor products like Rubrik, Cohesity, Infinidat, Nutanix, PaloAlto, Arista and I can't believe I am saying it, NetApp. Rubrik, Cohesity, Nutanix and NetApp have been taking down accounts right and left. Note I didn't say Pure, they seem to have fallen off the map with Nutanix growing much faster. Happy Thanksgiving everyone
I don't put anything past them. They will do what they like and keep "acting as-if" with their non-GAAP numbers, hashtags, slogans, etc. It's the fake-it-till-you-make-it plan.
We'll see if they make it.

I can’t see a company doing layoffs before Christmas.This just would not look good PR wise.

As in the week of the 27th or the week of the 4th? I had previously heard a rumor about the week of December 4th affecting the Storage Division.
