Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

What's the ZZZ list?

People keep mentioning it, and googling it doesn't help. Thanks in advance!

you cannot verify your name on the list while you are still active. ask a friend in Dell to do that when you are gone.

The steps are right above you how to do this.

While logged onto Dell/EMC network, right click on any file on your machine and go to properties, security , edit then add. Here enter something like zzz1123 (for today) and click CHECK NAMES. It will only be able to return the first 1000 entries so I would say keep it to a week at most (enter zzz110 for dates between Nov 01-09).

You're not adding any of these accounts, you're just using the AD box to search for accounts renamed to zzz1123.

See https://www.thelayoff.com/t/PrDjLAD

Do these steps on any windows file (computer must be on Dell EMC domain).

Right-click the file (eg: word doc etc), click Properties, and then click the Security tab.

Click Edit to open the Permissions for dialog box.

Click Add and type in zzz09.

Click "Check Names" button to get the list.

NOTE: you can filter by day and search zzz0922 etc
