Well about a dozen IT RIFs for USA ..... they were informed already and have to work to December 29th then on to other companies. Seemed to be different sites. And different technology areas.
I think it's all done unless the employee and the supervisor were out on vacation

When they took IT out of the businesses and moved the headcount and money to Corporate IT, things went downhill. Each business has their own needs and priorities. Right after the move to Corporate IT, I left the company. I made the comment that there was a redundancy of IT resources with the Corp IT consolidation and that a RIF was only a matter time. My manager said oh no IT will need more resources because of the increased work load. Who had the right analysis? That is why I am gone because the idiots that manage IT are still there. Or maybe not.
Is this why Honeywell is suddenly seeing virus outbreaks at many sites? A little parting gift?
I don't think its done. I have heard some pretty big numbers before year end and even bigger ones in Q1 and Q2 2018.
sadly, the overall IT group from top to bottom was garbage before this. Sad to say we won't see any difference since it su cked all along. Hire more Indian idiots who have no clue of urgency and dont know what they are doing. you get what you pay for was never more true.
