Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

can't expect to grow with our bureaucracy and politics

i know big companies need to have complicated processes set up to oversee the entire operation, but what we have at mondelez has crossed all the lines...

it's no wonder we are not hitting our growth targets considering our bureaucracy and politics... huge amounts of unnecessary red tape are costing us in both time and money... so much wasted time and so much waster money...

the high level of politics has made sure that the company culture is nonexistent... teamwork only happens if it's absolutely necessary... everybody lacks motivation to do better... which is particularly sad considering the amazing pool of talent we have here...

no wonder that they switched tracks from growth to downsizing... that's the only way to go with this setup...

Very true! Couldn't have said it better!

Any idea when we will all be let go?

Amen! We work against ourselves. Blind NOS orders, wow! Who does that help? Either 2 hours on the phone or a back room full of what you don't need. In the last few years it became evident it all boiled down to one thing...do whatever is necessary to hit numbers, regardless. Back rooms were dumped on and rumors of fictitious accounts being set up have been ramped (Wells Fargo and Martha Stewart both tried that, bad ideas management). Poor senior leadership and now retailers are suffering and need to s--- every dime out of vendors. Perfect set up for what's about to come. Thank you senior leadership!
