Some of the articles show how Amazon is giving their employees better insurance. And Amazon is not necessarily known as a champion of workers rights.

But is this not what Walmart wanted? Didn’t they want to reclaim their throne as wringing the most out of their workers?

The joke is on them though. It’s costing them WAY more in a lot of other different ways. Either important stuff doesn’t get done at store level or it gets done wrong because the workers don’t have the time and they don’t care about the company anymore.

Treat your workers like a body to do the job and they’ll treat you like a place to go to get a paycheck. You get what you pay for....

Read the Glassdoor reviews for modcloth. The CEO wanted to get rid of Plus size model because it is not “aspirational.” And Doug tells us they share our values and this is Progress!
