I haven't received anything. I can't get a straight answer about anything around this place. We are suppose to have our package by Friday and that is our last day. So if we leave and turns out we don't like the package, it's not their problem. I know it's a business love with cutting jobs, please do all of us a favor and stop hiding behind your desks. Step up and be a man like Sam Walton would have been. He would have told his workers the truth.

To Livi- u should already know the approximate pay out based on your rate of pay x your years of service- 40% tax
My ptc told me she received an email on Wednesday stating that they were delayed in getting the packets out. it also said they were sending them out FedEx and we would receive them on Thursday or Friday. So what is correct your info or the email my ptc received?????? No one tells you the truth in this company! Its all lies and BS!!!!!!!!! What if we don't agree with the payout? Then we are screwed. This is info we should have been informed of long before we were forced to make our decision.
I hate that you didn’t get the goodbye you deserved. Mine was announced in the morning meeting with a cake. I love most everyone and we are a family with or without the company. Good luck to all.
Today was my last day at Sam’s bittersweet good bye good riddens .So now I wait for my packet in the mail .Such a joke after 32 years & no one can talk to you face to face what’s going to happen , how much is your severance going to be .My GM barely said good by to me .
I was told I had to stay until Dec 1st in order to get severance and that if i left a day before i would get nothing. I’ve been working this whole time! I have a new job and now I see where you could have left before!! Ugh!!!!!!! Is this true?!
If associate was terminated before the 1st the packet was sent earlier this week. If the associate is still showing active their packet was mailed yesterday. Inregards to the severance pay out, how that is figured out is all in the WIRE

They have to key u out of the system in order for u to the the severance package .... and u won’t get it right away ....they will have to let let all tl that did not take the another position by Dec 1 ...... did u apply for any open positions ? Did you ask to be secondary for a couple positions?? My tl is staying with the company.

So what about 401k and health benefits. Has anyone gotten an answer about whether or not there will be a discounted rate or wave of penalty. I cant enroll in either one for an entire year at my new job.
I am not stepping out of my club on friday until i watch them key me out the system. I am so aggravated with all of this. I have been with my club from the very first day it opened its doors and its like they dont care. I wasnt even offered another position. I asked about it and was told there were no full time positions available. Needless to say Friday is my last day!

You will not get anything until u are keyed out of the system .... they are not doing this they same ways as the audit team they got to see there severance package but the cash leads won’t until u are keyed out they will mail it to you within one week of the gain..... I️ am the Ptc and have to make sure that the address is correct in the system.
