I’m in Greenville and it is not anywhere near 30%. It is 130-something salaried employees, total, so kindly f--- off.
@1kee No it's not 40, it's 30% here in Greenville. I've seen a few areas that didn't seem to be affected at all, like Lighting and Transportation. That may be because they are for sale. So just because your little world is not being affected doesn't mean the rest of us are not.

No it’s still FAKE NEWS because the rumor was 40% reductions. We got nothing even approaching that...not even a 10% overall headcount cut for Power...not even close. Keep spreading misinfo though if it gets you off.
Looks like November 30th panned out to be REAL News. And it’s also real to expect more 1st quarter 2018. Why? Because it’s the GE Way!!!!! Always has been. Always will be. If you survived today’s mass layoff, do you really want to stay and wait on the next one? GE Is NOT a good place to work.
