Vz hires temps and tell them work hard and we will keep you, that is not the case,if they hire 200 temps and 2 years from hire, the company decides we dont need them ,then the whole lot gets laid off it doesnt matter if you are a good worker or not ,they tell you 1-3 yr temp so they can keep you for 1 yr min and then let you go or keep you for 3 yrs all depends what you were hired for..i have 32 years and due to retire next year.ive seen temps come and go ,manegers will say work hard and we will keep you ,this is alot of B.S cause its not up to your foreman if they keep you or not.and if you are getting hired for line work ,when that program of doubles woods runs dry they will dump you like a bag of crap.so leave your options open ,take the job make your money but dont think that you will be here for ever or think that you will be working here for 30 years cus this is not the same old phone company, its different times, technology, etc,so just be wary, ive met alot of nice young bucks that got hired in 2003 to do fios i&r ,company kept them for 5yrs and then said we dont need you and they all got let go it was like 300 temps at that time..so just leave you options open and take the job but keep looking for stable job.Good luck

I think they hire temps so that they can keep the good workers and dump the bad ones....like driving a car before you buy.
