There are more efficient ways to CYA. Print off a packet with the info when hiring and yearly for updates. Associate “reads” and signs.

GLMS is to CYA, in other words, it covers the company's a$$! By taking those stupid cbl's, it prevents us from suing the company. Since they have proof we acknowledged by us taking the cbl.

Qv009oR-1fky Yes! So many wasted ours helping elderly demo ladies back in the day and door greeters through hazardous waste CBLs.

Do job specific training and stop wasting time and payroll with animated Characters who slow down and crash the entire thing. I want to say his name was Chris or something. I raged out every time I had to do a Cbl with him involved. Awful.

Sam’s Club if you want to save money and increase profit eliminate the unnessary GLMSs for the associates and the HO who creates them. This is a total waste of payrolll $. This is time for the associate to text their friends and not learn a damn thing but only takes away from member service. Plus who ever creates them makes them so difficult that it takes the associates several times to pass them. In college I learned about the KISS theroy(kEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID). Now is this member service? NO! If you want to save more $s 86 the Unnessary GLMs and focus on on hands on experience that is the real training. Now tell me why does a 70 year old door greater needs to learn about hazardous waste clean up? Put your money towards the asociates who work in the field and actually takes care of the members. Instead of wasting you $$$ on the unnnessary GLMS and the associates who create them who has NEVER worked in a club. I am a 25 year PTC who has seen it all. Take my advice because you are a sinking ship. If my job is eliminated like this site claims, the managers will never keep up with those bull sh-- GLMS.

Market managers had to sign a confidentiality agreement at their meeting. Whatever it is won't be good...

I read some of the notes for different areas. It wasn't anything concerning a layoff. Mostly things they expect done when the Marketing Managers visit our club.

I work in the receiving office and all these rumors are driving me crazy!!! We day receive with just myself and the lead, and work is miserable wondering every day what's going on. Wish we could just get some concrete information from the HO on some kind of timeframe if there will be layoffs and what jobs so we aren't just blindsided one day.

Our club manager had a conference call with no notice I heard her saying today. Maybe to go over tying the knot for the cash office lead. Their last day was today I believe. Also, possibly to go over next changes. Not sure.
