Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Are we safe or not for the holidays?

I understand nobody's job is safe anymore, but I was wondering if we at least know whether we'll all be safe until holidays are done? I've been in constant worrying mode for so long that I'm not sure how much more I can take. It'd be nice to take a few weeks and just not worry. Just a few weeks. Is that too much to ask for?

They always do the “layoffs” after thanksgiving and before Christmas and then usually for New Years as well . Want stock price to close higher and need more $$ to continue acquisitions - Tom Ryan must be sick seeing this and Larry Merlot shame on him , I’m surprised he can look at himself in the mirror

Nobody but a top level exec can tell you that with any certainty, and they won't be doing that.

For the current round (11/29/17), if you didn't get notification yesterday, I think you're good for the holidays anyway. OMO
