Why is the DoD utilizing cloud ? If something goes wrong with the cloud service provider (like what happened at Uber in a different setting), aren't we possibly screwed ? Take away some more percentage from our paycheck but keep us secure.
Well, I guess we can say the dumb @ss government workers that I have sold Oracle software to for over two decades are finally getting smart.
Even if you are an Oracle employee, this is better for all of us in the long run. Our cloud has way too many unpatched vulnerabilities to be used by the DoD. I’d be terrified if we had their data. Our cloud guys don’t care about security at all.
