Did they lay off the only person who knows how to do it or just lose track of what stores have been closed? I see numerous stores that have been closed for a month or more still listed.

I was curious about that with Kmart. And I saw PLENTY of Kmarts that were long since closed. The only real accurate way to tell it seems is if you do a Google search on the store and under the store hours it will say "PERMANENTLY CLOSED".
They probably don't bother to update it. It must be extremely demoralizing.
