do your job but no need to stand out... no need to do something better or quicker... the goal is to hit metrics for the week/month/quarter... producing something innovative or sustainable is not on the menu...
in one word, it's booooooooooooooring... no challenge in anything we do...
sad thing, most actually enjoy this... which makes it even worse somehow... knowing we are surrounded by people who thrive on mediocrity...
