Are there any eyes on the new GOM group? If not, then there should be.

@2txl, there’s nothing you can say or do that’s going to change anything at GOM or elsewhere in the business. For your own sake and wellbeing, show up for work on time, put in your hours on the job, carry out your pay grade responsibilities and go home. There’s a chain of command and everyone has a boss. Follow the “rules of the house” or find yourself a transfer. Quitting is also an option. I put up with a few Chevron A-hole bosses in my 30 year career. Just deal with it and remember with a smile every time - what goes around, comes around. Even d!ckhead bosses and blowhard employees don’t last forever. Resolve in your mind that you’ll be around to see them leave Chevron before you do.
Nepotism and local favoritism. Bully managers, hateful bigots and the old boys network. You can be brought up to HR for not holding handrails or not backing your car in, it got that petty and childish. Nothing says high school popularity contest like GOM. Its a disgraceful business unit and I will be glad when we are rid of it.
Favoritism ruled. ROM decisions were not based on experience and knowledge but on likes and who sold the most believable falsehoods.
Same old dumpster fire, GOM selection event was a joke. Will just have to do it again in the spring.
New group, but same old same old. Why would you expect anything different?
