Dec. 11th announcement???

Hearing rumors of an announcement on December 11th? Rumor may have originated in Erie, Pa in regards to Transportation or Erie plant in general. Anyone heard anything about the master plan and selling off assets? Looking to accept another position outside of GE but I don’t want to forfeit any compensation/benefits in event of layoff’s/plant closing.

Nuclear division is one of the worst performing business within GE with zero potential for future growth. I wonder why the management is still hanging on to it. Any thoughts?

I've heard nothing of any announcement on the 11th from the Power business side, for what it's worth.

Pigs get fat though, before they’re slaughtered! I’m fine with a handshake but that’s not the case. I will leave voluntarily when I know there’s no package to receive, but I’m positive that I will leave before asked to go! Just trying to find out if anyone, anywhere, with insight has heard of ANY announcement December 11th, probably specifically related to Transportation and/or Erie, Pa?

Don’t be a greedy pig. Pigs get slaughtered. Take the new job if it’s what you want. GE can lay you off with only a handshake if they want to.
