Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

All you haters

What a great Christmas bonus we got, a turkey, an awesome Christmas party for the kids, our manager had an awesome Christmas party at his home, vending machines open for free coffee, let us have some slack time on Friday to enjoy our fellow employees and wish them a merry Christmas.... OH WAIT! That was Garrett/ AlliedSignal if days gone by.

Can’t say Merry Christmas now it’s “happy holidays”!

Enjoy honeyhellers. Good luck in 2018

Moved on to new company after layoff - Imagine this my New Company actually values employees! I have medical benefits (not catastrophic care). Vision and dental as well - Oh wait and this Saturday is the employee Christmas party for the children to meet Santa and get a gift. Next weekend is employee party at local hotel with full dinner etc. It's so refreshing to actually have a leadership team that practices what it preaches - I'm waiting for the Human Resources trolls to reply this post telling me why Honeywell is a great company - don't waste your time - It once WAS a great company...

@4tec, nope.

This year, due to budget constraints, the mgmt will eliminate the Vaseline and stick it to us "raw". This place bears no resemblance at all to the co I hired into.

This year's Christmas present will be an extra large jar of Vaseline to carry you over thru the New Year.

One year the arrogant bastard site manager (Tucson) and his cohorts had the absolute gall to hand out recycled chocolate coins for a Christmas bonus. This was the first year after the elimination of bonuses for Christmas.

Now they just give you the "bird". Unrefrigerated at that.

LOL - those days are long gone my friend but nice to reminisce. 40 years ago when I worked at NCR (National Cash Register) they would roll up an refrigerated 18 wheeler filled to the brim with frozen turkeys and every employee at the plant could help himself to the bird of his choice.
