There are many things that make a company great. Likewise, there are others which dictate imminent failure. Some examples that will lead to the death of Advance Auto Parts are;
*Failure to sincerely recognize people. You are just a number at AAP.
*No internal respect for leadership. Who wants to follow a soda and chip guy moonlighting in the auto parts business? CSMs and DMs lack respect as well.
*Capped compensation for CAMs. Bonus is not the same as a commission. People who can truly sell demand compensation commensurate with their ability.
*Turnover has a cost. It will never improve until a solid field management alignment is in place.
- Inventory management is sloppy at best. Accountability for losses is horrible.
*Product offering lacks quality in many areas. Try to figure out what brand is in a filter box.
