Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

receiving clerks

for those of us that want this to be over, get a severance and be gone I hope it happens but I don't think it's going to happen that way. I think we are going to be stuck doing odd jobs forever. For those that really want to stay or have to good luck, you're going to need it. Not going to be a job you want .

Once again I've heard to many different contradicting things to believe we will get a fair shake. Not that any of this is fair or right it's just the way the world works.

A gal in Our club used all her pto and old personal time in her 60 days and it did not effect her pay out.

The general view I've seen is you have to wait the 60 days to get your full severance. The severance is calculated off of past 12 weeks worked hours so PTO will cut down the amount you get. Someone who actually got a severance might be able to confirm.

Weeks and weeks have gone by since many of us heard “the rumors” I think corporate should be ashamed of themselves the way we are still clueless!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Karma, may you all eventually feel the way we do one day!

This question has probably been asked before, but I was curious if my position does get eliminated, do I have to stay for the whole 60 days? Would it effect my severance pay if I left right away?

That's all I've been waiting for is my severance pay. It's been a long wait, but I think it's getting close.
