If they are trying to get to an SG&A number then they need to stop giving certain business units a pass where keeping the status quo by keeping the business stuck in 1985 technology abounds. It's a transparent attempt to keep an empire of underperforming people doing busy work only to justify their leader's existence. It's sickening this has been allowed when other areas are losing intelligent people who actually add value.

How many people work on the campuses in NWA? supposedly it’s about hitting an SG&A number, not a total headcount.

I don’t put much faith in the new campus. With the new regime, I could see them completely moving the HQ out of Bentonville. There’s no loyalty anymore.

Don't be stupid. The new HO building has nothing at all to do with it. Don't you remember a post on here some time ago with the title of "Bentonville is the new Detroit"?

It's happening.

Why oh why are they going to spend $50 million or whatever on a new home office when they’re cutting so much head count?

Don't put too much credit in what management says about layoffs. Early last year some executives said layoffs were done. We all know what happened soon after that

If associates are to be laid off before vendors, why are we getting paid less for same job ? I was told associates are paid less because we have job security and vendors don’t? Was this another lie?

Don't count on vendor cuts. They are paid from a different bucket and can be worked like slaves to backfill where needed.
