It is me. I didn't want to give specifics and risk my job. I would hope you'd understand but obviously not. Just more risk now than before. But it is phc, hcm rn and hcm ss. Early February as of now. No need to be mean or rude. I've only tried to help ease anxiety over the last year. I'm signing off now for good.
We know that this round of layoffs will wrap up before the second quarter. My guess is we are going to be laid off after next week

Previous poster I totally agree with your opinion that Humana doesn’t have a plan. They are trying to figure it out and I believe none of us are safe.
My opinion-only opinion-Humana doesn't have a firm plan. They are looking to buy or be bought. So there isnt a long term vision right now. Health care insurance is in flux and they are figuring out how to stay competitive. That being said, no one is safe because the ground is shaking every where.
Blow poster, as a PHC who was told "no more 2017 layoffs" (only to see more layoffs) at one of those meetings, my advice would be - don't expect real "information" at these meetings; don't process them as such. If anything, they are spin, Kool-Aid, time-wasters -- anything but helpful "information."
In the last healthcare services town hall, there was mention of how retaining RNs and reducing turnover was something they needed to improve upon. Was that just BS?
Rumor is many HCM RNs will be let go very soon. Rosters will be increased and combined with monitored members.
Right, below poster. My coach (PHC coach) has been telling us to update resumes and look for other opportunities for months now.
It’s my fault if I choose to ignore him (I haven’t ignored him - I have a second interview this week for a position elsewhere that I’m excited about).
Ever since we stopped enrolling, we have been advised to get ducks in a row and search - at least on my team.
I’m with the other poster regardless of the date we know it’s coming. Just have your resume ready. imo it should have been ready since last year I know mine has been ready and I’m applying for jobs outside of Humana.

I am sure they are, based on what is happening all around. It may help that HAH RNs are heading out the door before the next round. HCM RN here that just left and 2 more after me are leaving soon after I left. That may help some of the slated layoffs for some. Good luck!

I too don't believe this is the real 22. We have been duped before. If 22 could say prepare, 22 could also say prepare for nurse, PHC or CHE layoffs. Not just "prepare"
HCM RN my coach stated that we needed to be on our best game. That is all she said, in the past when she has said something like that layoffs occurred . We will have to wait-and-see

So there’s obviously 2 possibilities. Either a number of coaches received some concerning news yesterday afternoon, or there are people on here BS’ing.
If you are a person BS’ing please think about how unnecessarily cruel it is, would you want someone messing with your family member or yourself about the loss of your job?
That said, I’m getting a strong feeling of deja vu just typing this, remembering how we all jumped on 💯 for being cruel and lying, only to get hit with a hard dose of reality afterward.

Coach 22 was happy to be very specific in the past. I don't believe this is 22. I am certain there is something coming but this isn't Coach 22.
Sounds like coach22 is saying there has been some updates since he/she stated there was nothing to report. Now we need to prepare for whatever is about to come.
Prepare for what? Which departments? CMs, PHCs, hcmss? You’re like a horoscope....anyone can read I to it what they want. Good general advice, for any situation, prepare. Poster, please elaborate, because what you posted may be causing unneeded stress and speculation.

Either you or your coach friend is lying. The coaches have not been told a thing about any potential layoffs in January. Coaches are in the dark as much as you are!
I think it is obvious more HCM RNs will be let go and major realignment to HAH.
If any of this is true, I’m curious to know the timing of the confidential email and subsequent announcement. Likely before the all phc meeting that’s coming up?
The hcmss queue is over 600, there are less warm transfers and probably will be now that hcmss are care planning, I don’t see how they are over staffed

Heard from a coach friend that they were expecting more nurses to quit after last layoffs than what actually did leave. Heard HAH and particularly HCM RNs will be the ones let go in January. Hcm RNs are just overstaffed now with moving members to monitored .

I think the point was that conflicting reasons were given for the training push off.
This, in combination with no new enrollment since June, a heavy push to move members off of rosters, a year of layoffs and false reassurances, a work environment in which we are supposed to pretend none of this has occurred and can’t ask questions, and awful communication about what’s next - naturally, people would be on edge.
Nothing, poster. Our PHC team has not been told of this training.
PHCs, there are so many glitches in the care plan training and program, it’s going to take time to figure them out....what are you all doing with the behavioral health training.
