Fixed vacation coming back...?

Strong rumors that fixed vacation is coming back and will be capped at 4 weeks max, regardless # of years service

Bye bye unlimited vacation... we hardly knew you

The company is like an addict, it only cares about the next high(stock), it doesn't care how malnourished its parts are. There are the leaders which push for this futile iterative cycle and followed by those who one day would like to do the yelling.

There is nothing this place does internally that ends up better for its employees, those days are long gone. All that is left are the greedy addicts in charge until the stock takes a dive for correction.

There is no happy ending here, just a frog that has been boiled slowly...

In addition to the very good points -hqr makes, the policy change would have been rolled out already, if it were happening in 2018.

They implemented this to save boatloads of cash by not paying out accrued vacation days during rifs and mass exoduses of people leaving......

you have a better chance of winning the lottery and being hit by lightning in the same day as this coming back.

I doubt that, maybe bring back the old system, based on yrs of service....but doubtful it would be capped at 4wks....
