Hello Walmart employees. I received a job offer to work a security detail at a local Walmart from Jan 10-18. Fifteeen hours shifts. Provide security for employee layoffs actions occurring at Walmart. These actions are occurring across the US. Don’t know what problems they are anticipating but they are hiring security personnel to standby while they layoff workers. I hear senior people at headquarters are also being affected. Sorry to hear people are loosing their jobs. Good luck and hope everything works out for the people who are layed off.

That’s correct we used to be partners now we’re just piss ants!
Partners was the term used in the old sam’s culture. There was a mgr that had been around since almost day one and he too used that term. It was picked up by numerous newbies since they heard that daily. So yeah it’s legit
There are lots of people trolling this site and the site for Walmart. You know they are full of $-hit when they refer to employees of Sam's and Walmart as "Partners," that's Targets term for their employees. If you're going to be a troll, at least be the best troll you can be and get the terminology correct.
I call Bull Sh-- on this. As many layoffs as I have endured, they have never hired security. Dude you are lame!
We will know by the end of the week. At least 60 are gone.

Clearly this Is a lie. Any changes wont happen in till February, like they happen every year. Please be smart about what rumor you believe.
Seeing how you have no affiliation with walmart, maybe you can tell us what state and area your in?
