I worked for TD quite a number of years until the lack of work/life balance forced me to look elsewhere. This is not your traditional banking institution with its 7 days a week open hours. Schedules are not set, demands are high and most of the time we were short staffed.
There was an ungodly amount of pressure to make sales which can turn work into an endless daily grind. Not to mention, there were definite repercussions if goals were not met. With focus on this it seemed like we didn’t matter as employees and eventually I got out of there.
I really wish higher ups would realize that credit card sales shouldn’t take priority over employees. They are the face of the company and without them bank would be dead in the water.
