Be glad you still have a job at slightly reduced hours. Some people got layoff notices at other retailers this week!

Step up and volunteer to do projects or cleaning and your managers will rarely say no. If they do you clearly have not proven yourself as a valuable use of payroll.

Ok. Anyone who had been with the company for any length of time knows that hours are always reduced after Christmas. Our

full time partners are scheduled

37.50 hours , not 40. Part time associates 16 - 20. This is slow

season, time for the month of

“ Fix up / Clean up”. Lasts about 4

weeks and then we are gearing up

for Valentines Day, Spring , etc.

Stop complaining . This is typical

retail no matter which retail company you work for. Enjoy what you do. Maybe retail is not for you.

Find a field you enjoy . Be happy .

Life is too short.

I've been doing this nearly 20 years and without fail every Jan-Feb hours are cut. So for me this is not out of the ordinary.

If I am not mistaken, this happens every January...across all departments.
