Generate just sent an email to all store executives. He said they will be closing 11 stores (part of the 100 stores announced past August) the remaining stores will be clos8ng over the next couple of years with leases expiring. He also said due to the trend changes we are experiencing there will not be massive restructuring that Macy's typically does, however HR and Stores will make sizable changes

Yep - they wiped out HR. Almost all HR functions will now be done on-line. That should really help the engagement scores.
@lel - I can confirm this email. We do not know what the changes are for now - but, given the tone, it'll be fairly big - I dont think anyone on this board knows what the changes will be.
It is what it is, I am glad that #s are picking up though...
