Any information on changes to the Jewelry Complex??
Specifically...Business Managers, Jewelry Supervisors, Clericals, Captians or Ringers???
Staying the same?
Or combining/eliminating jobs in the complex??

Why does the Complex need both a supervisor and a captain? Aren't they basically the same? The Clerical is unique in responsibilities. I heard they may eliminate the Complex ringers.
I hope it is not the Clerical Position!! The Clerical does so much for the complex!! More than most realize!
Our Fine Jewelry Lead seems extraneous. But I hope they don’t plan to eliminate the clerical position! A few years ago, we went through one of those cycles where they had decided that we had too many full time associates, and they offered the newest person a full time position in another department; would Fine Jewelry complex associates get that opportunity this time?

We have a Jewelry Business manager, a Team Lead, and a clerical. According to our Lead, we have too many full time associates in our dept. What will happen?
JBM would not go to Jewelry Captain, JBM reduction would go to Jewelry Complex Sales Supervisor if the threshold isn't met. This happened in a lot of stores already last year.

We have a Jewelry Supervisor and a Captain.
If we don't qualify for both under new revised thresholds....would the supervisor be bumped to captain title and the captain be bumped to a regular associate OR does the supervisor lose their job and we keep the current captain??
They have raised it to either 2.3 or 2.5 million
Last year the cutoff was $2M. If you are under $2M, the JBM went to Jewelry Captain. Not sure if that is the threshold at this point....
What volume must the Jewelry complex have to keep the Jewelry Supervisor position and not have a Captain Only Door??
JBM’s and JSS’s that are getting cut most doors will go captain only.
My reliable source didn’t say what specifically. I’m an asts and I will find out more Monday. But it’s in sales staffing and cosmetics. And I guess eventually I’ll find out if I will even still have a position.
There are absolutely changes comi g to the jewelry complex. It was announced on the calls yesterday morning that the VPSM'S were on. They aren't allowed to speak about them until either next week or after inventory take.
What kind of reductions did your reliable source say?
Not yet. There will be forced reductions in staffing so it isn’t safe for everyone just yet. I heard this from a definitely reliable source.

Is cosmetics SM impacted?
Haven’t seen anything on FJC but more to come Jan 8th.
